Well done Red Wheelies™ for a new Guinness World Record
The Red Wheelies™ 24 hour Endurance Challenge
All the Red Wheelies™ completed the 24 hour challenge. 3 of the team tried to set a new Guinness World Record: The longest distance travelled by an individual on a mobility scooter within a 24 hour period. Jakie smashed the old record of 84 miles with an amazing distance of 154 Miles. ALL monies raised by The Red Wheelies™ go to the Kent MS Therapy Centre rebuilding fund. The Guinness World Record team with the Red Wheelies™
24 hour endurance challenge and a New Guinness World Record. With rain and wind through the night and even a visit from the Police at 3 am with reports of “strange lights in the park”.
The all battled on.
Well done to them all, they should be very proud indeed. A big thanks goes to Quingo Scooters for the 24 hour support team and a cheque for £2,500.00
Let us not forget the husbands without whom the Red Wheelies™ would not be able to function.
