Blean Woodland Festival
SHOUT DISCO provided all the sound and a bouncy castle for the day. The event we are talking about is The (2nd) Blean Woodland Festival, which will take place on Saturday 11th September from 10 am to 4pm at Strode Park. The first was held over 2 days at the UKC and attracted about 1000 people. This will be a one day event.
The day includes traditional craft demonstrations – like pole lathing, trug making, willow weaving, etc plus chainsaw sculpture, conservation groups, Konik ponies (hopefully), wandering minstrel, Dead Horse Morris with the Herne Hoodening Song, Art, Photographs, kids activities, bouncy castle, nature trail etc, Pigs Ear folk group, local produce, walks, talks, hog roast, real ale & local cider bar.
